WEEK 7

In week 7, I am working on the presentation slide and also the proposal...

3.0  PROBLEM STATEMENT
Rest time for every human being should not be interrupted by any external cause such as wired electrodethat makes them feel not comfortable during sleeping. As to avoid this problem occur, wired electrodes should be applied in this portable EMG recording system. The electrode must be painless, reuse, flexible for any movement, reliable and low power required. As the muscle waves are taken during patient’s rest time, the recording system must be wearable. The portable EMG recording system will be applied as garment or nightwear to the patient’s body. It will interrupt the patient’s rest time as it is comfortable, painless and flexible for any movement.

4.0  LITERATURE REVIEW

This project of Portable EMG recording system during sleeping is inspired from one technical project from IEEE Xplore which named “A wearable device for recording of biopotential and body movements”. It was written and done by P.Bifulco, M.Cesarelli, A.Fratini, M.Ruffo, G.Pasquariello and Gaetano Gargiulo from biomedical electronic,TLC engineering and school of electrical and information Engineering of University of Naples, Italy.

The wearable device for recording of bio potential and body movements is a device that measure and record many types of bio signals which includes ECG, EEG and EMG signal. In this project they used many types of bio signal electrodes and also MEMS accelorator to detect each signals from the body. MEMS accelorator is used to measure and detect the muscle waves from the body.
